Fun geography game if you're bored

This is fun!

Go to www.mapcrunch.com. It's basically google street view, without the maps.

On the side, make sure all the countries are NOT selected, and click "hide current location" (if you see it, I don't even see that option lol). Then click on "GO"

you will be plopped in a random location on earth (that is covered by street view, anyway), and the goal is to explore the land to figure out where you are, and get yourself to an airport to fly home. (or if you're lucky enough to be put somewhere relatively close to home, then go to your front door).

Fun way to kill some time, and explore different parts of the world :)
last night, I did it for the first time, and found out (by road signs) that I was near Bratislava. Eventually I found a freeway and saw signs towards the airport, and made it :)

I'm a bit of a geography geek, so I find it lots of fun :)

Well, it's been over a year of myself and Seth going at each other, and since everyone is always saying 'get a room' we decided we should finally get one.

We shall be posting gifs we like to use and being........well, us.

Don't worry, we'll still be all over Last Post, this is just a fun idea we had.

I have lurked long enough. I know, I am almost at 4,000 posts so that doesn�t really qualify as lurking. But the past couple days have got me thinking that I need my place to spread my wings, so to speak. I can keep up the norm/status quo and just pop in with a comment here and there or be myself, evolve more or less and not be a mute voice in a sea of others.

So here is the plan. This is my place to post what I am thinking (I know, been done before, but they are fun places to visit). And I want everyone to contribute however they like, no rules, just a place to come to, to say hi or tell me I�m dumb. I don�t care. (I do care if you call me dumb but I will assume you say it with love.)

When I say I am all over the place and that is why I don�t post but for hours in between, it�s because I am. I am obsessive compulsive, and I have attention deficit disorder, self-diagnosed, natch.

I may post about the book I am reading or just finished. I may review a movie or a scene or a trailer. You never know what I am going to say.

Basically I want his place so I can say what I want to say and just say it. Far too many times I will write something to say and I will just delete it. If I posted everything I thought of I would have 6 times the post total.

Chaos Beautiful started as a title for a story I was writing, so many years ago know, and one of many I never finished. Then it became the name of my Tumblr page (http://darkfire-collapse.tumblr.com/ NSFW) And now it�s my thread. I liked how it sounded and it�s stuck with me.

Book review.
The last book I read was The Story Sisters by Alice Hoffman.

I give this book (!)(!) out of 5. Alice Hoffman has written some of my favorite books, The River King, Practical Magic, but this one was missing the magic, figuratively, not actually. I didn�t care for any of the characters, and halfway through the book I just didn�t care anymore and started skipping and skimming large portions, I read about 150 pages in an hour.
