No, you are not the only one. I think the sense of smell is a very powerful vehicle for sexual attraction. I personally don't like strong pungent body odor of any kind, but the subtle masculine scent emanating from private parts can drive me nuts. A big turnoff, an armpit that smells like deodorant.

It is incredibly powerful for humans and let's not forget.... in the animal kingdom sniffing.... the sense of smell is what turns one animal of a species onto another. It's their calling card. If another animal tries to barge in, he is in for some mighty big trouble.

Agree with at least the previous three posts ^^. Some guys seem to have the most heavenly crotch odor. Not nasty at all, just a beautiful scent. An armpit with the odor of perspiration is a total turn on. My tongue loves that sweaty taste.

Sweaty construction worker's armpits in a crowded subway during rush hour in August. Heaven, I'm in heaven.

The old fashioned men's gym locker room smells: heavy duty sweat and musk; stripped off work out clothes tossed all over the locker room while the guys showered (some how I never remember any guys hanging up their sweaty gym clothes back in the 50s/60s; they tossed their gear on the floor or bench, showered, then stuffed everything into their gym bags before they left. Were they just slobs? Or were they being kind to jock sniffers?)

Though not a body smell, I still get turned on by the old fashioned locker room smells of linement and rubbing alcohol and witch hazel. One sniff gets me immediately hard and drooling.

BTW: Scientists aren't sure which is the egg and which the chicken here. Do gay men have unusually high sensitivity to male body smell? Or do men with unusually high sensitivity to male body smells end up being gay? I want a research grant to check this out!
