There's so much more to Logan's appeal than being the 'designated twink'. He's probably the site's greatest discovery, an all-American version of Johan Paulik. While not as classically good looking as either Dawson or Lucas, there's just something about Logan: the kid just oozes sex. He's precocious, and was probably the 1st kid in his class to get laid. Precociousness likely accounts for his being willing to 'experiment' and have a good time doing so.

I liked Nate, too, but I think we might be in the minority of CF patrons in this regard. I think he didn't seem 'jocky' enough: he seemed more brainy/nerdy -- a National Honor Society type. As a jock with nerd tendencies (or visa versa), I could relate to him.

I've said for a while one of the things the CF folks can do to liven things up a bit is have the boys who are 'curious' (or moreso) be a little more candid. For example this new guy, Travis, came off as squeaky clean straight in his interview, but seems to be on an accelerated course at CFU. His performances are passionate, in the way that Cade's are. You get the feeling either that he's doing something that he always wanted to do, or has been doing it for quite some time.

I've always wondered if any of these guys have found themselves feeling a little bit more for each other.

I guess it is true that Corbin has only had a few new guys over the past few months, and none of them have been worth paying to look at to be honest. CF has been on the downside for close to a year now. While every now and then he gets a good model, Charlie(we haven't seen him since his solo), Jeff who's come out of his shell, and now Travis. The mainstays have been Logan, Dawson and Lucas...| Corbin played the "best bud" series with TJ and Ben for all he could, then they got stale too. And don't anyone even put GABE(boring) in the mix. Anyone who has read CF's threads, know I've always liked Logan right from the start. So IF he did do an escort service, I'd be next in line behind you! I would like to see CF,SC and CM add more clips so you can get an idea of just what your getting. To CF's and CM's credit they have recently allowed clips to be posted on FLESHSEEKER. Galanalt - I totally agree with you - CF has got a problem with COMMUNICATION - I, too sent him two e-mails in the past two weeks - and he totally IGNORED me - seemshe's too high and mighty to bother with his customers - so I, too canceled my membership - someday maybe this 2 bit DIVA will realize that without paying customers he won't have a site to support! And maybe if some of his models read stuff here, they'll let CF know what's happening in the Real World!

But IMO his site took off when Dawson first appeared and in the ensuing months CF stopped listening to his members.
Anyway, I wanted to comment on this weeks update. I like Travis. In fact, he has that something special that makes me want to see more of him. Especially after his vid with Brent, which was very good. But this weeks video was a bomb!
When Travis was with Brent, there was alot of foreplay and passion on both of their parts. But with Derek, it's always a "sprint" rather than a marathon. He moves so fast in every damn video he does, I can't get into the moment. And that's to bad for Travis, because he's so good looking and would like to see his face and reaction as to what is happening during the video, it's over before it seems to even have started.
And is it just me, but do others notice CF's videos seem so dark that you can't capture the guys emotion during the video. Don't know if it's the black background of the bed, or the black chair off to the side, but when they're performing at the foot of the bed the lighting seems a little bit better. As far as I'm concerned, If I can't see the guys face plus when their kissing one model is always directly over the other and you can't see what's happeining then it's just wasted footage.

The shift was very noticeable for me. I had been corresponding with Corbin about the models and, as you say, he was very polite in his responses and if he took longer than 1-2 days to respond, it was hardly a matter requiring timely responses. Then I started having problems downloading the videos so I contacted technical support. While I was waiting to hear back from them, a new e-mail came in from Corbin and when I replied, I also added that I was waiting to hear back from technical support on an issue I was having. I can still remember his reply when it came back was "I am not really involved too much with the technical stuff anymore, hope they were able to help you out." Now I'd expect that kind of response from the CEO of General Electric or IBM, but I found that very disheartening from a website like CF.

Anyways, maybe when the 'VP of Operations' deigns to look over over this thread he might note that the peasants are not only cranky but that some have left for greener fields. Perhaps he might then do lunch with the 'VP of Customer Relations' and the 'VP of Marketing' and they might come up with a Business Plan to position themselves more effectively... :twisted:

While I agree that the Travis/Derek scene wasn't as good as the Travis/Brent scene, I think you're being a little unfair to Derek. The scene with Brent was Travis' first scene as a top, and other than the actual fucking part, Brent was very much in control of the action. With the Derek scene, Travis was clearly trying much harder to direct the action than he was in the Brent scene. And as a result, his inexperience and current limits worked against him and the scene in general. Derek was just getting started with his usual repertoire of foreplay when suddenly Travis flipped him on his back to start his version of foreplay. Once you get past some kissing and a very basic blowjob, Travis' bag of foreplay tricks is pretty much empty. About 1 minute after Travis took over the scene, he was reaching for a condom. So much for any further foreplay.

You stated that with Derek, "it's always a 'sprint' rather than a marathon". That isn't my impression, and I think the best example is the "Derek fucks Jared" scene. Derek wasn't moving fast at all in that scene. It was a 25 minute scene that started out with about a minute and a half of banter. After that, there was foreplay (all Derek... Jared was just the recipient) until 17 1/2 minutes into the video. During that 16 minutes, Derek played Jared's body like a fine instrument. Lots of intense kissing, body worship, cock and ball sucking, foot worship, rimming and assplay. IMO, this is one of the hottest scenes ever on CF... by comparison, both of the "Travis fucks..." scenes were like watching a televised chess tournament.

At any rate, I think that the problems with the Travis/Derek scene were much more Travis' doing than Derek's. Whether he decided himself that he should be in charge or he was told to by Corbin, he wasn't ready for it. At this point, Travis reminds me alot of early TJ... both are very good looking with trim, tight bodies, and Travis is just as stiff as TJ was when he was new. TJ has developed into an adequate performer, though he'll never hold a candle to CF's best. Time will tell if Travis does any better.

In the meantime, my recommendation to CF is to never again squander Derek's talents by putting him in such a passive role in a scene with a newbie. He's got sex appeal and sexual energy to burn, and it's a crime to bottle that up in a scene.

Hey dbrebel, I respect your opinions after all, that's what these posts are all about. I do like Derek as a model, he has a nice body(minus all the tats), but when with a new guy, this was Travis' 2nd time with a guy, I just think a diiferent model would of been better. Dereks been in a lot of vids, where his style is good and effective. Brent can be very tender and passionate, but he too can be very dominate with a guy like Derek.
