Interesting replies so far - some understandable - some just plain wrong so far as effect goes - anyway u can get testosterone tablets these days - in OZ certainly - ad they are free if u r nutless. There are more than a few bodybulders around - in the USA and elsewhere - who have been castrated intenionally so that they can get free testosterone for BB purposes. There's actually quite a list of genital mods out there, actually. They all pretty much creep me out, though. Castration is one. Piercing is another. There's one where they take a knife and split the penis from the underside, basically cutting into the urethra. There's also one where the entire penis is removed, but the testicles are kept in tact (basically for extreme bottoms who don't want any control over their orgasm).

There is also a method of heating the balls called "thermal neutering". It's a temporary means of castrations without removing any important organs. I don't remember the details but it involves the use of heat packs to raise the temperature of the testes until they stop producing testosterone. The effects last about a month. I had no idea this topic was discussed. I'd like to add my two cents. I've talked to people who have had penectomies, or planning on having it done in the future. And I didn't get the sense that they were mentally ill. They're making a decision about their bodies that they feel comfortable with. Just like if a man wanted a sex change. His body would be modified too. But I wouldn't consider him to be a "danger to himself". Before someone is able to have these kind of surgeries, they are required to have counseling to determine whether or not they're in their right mind. So if something was wrong, a person seeking penis removal would not be getting the surgery. I'm not trying to start anything. But I think a person should become educated on a topic before giving opinions with no facts to base them on.

And the size of the balls depends on what you want - from what I've seen of them, they can be anywhere fom 2mm or 3mm to 6,7,8mm... Depends what you want, I suppose.
