This is definitely true! I recently encountered it with ASG. Some vids would play and some vids would not (all depending on which ones had the technology attached, i guess?) from my hard drive...those that wouldn't play would start out by asking for my login and password, which had then expired over a month ago.

Hi guys! Just joined the forum, thought I'd chime in about SCM. I have had a membership for a few years and I have such mixed feelings about the site. I have other players I use which I think are better, but with DRM you can't use them. I guess I understand that people want to protect their content and not have their material floating around file-sharing networks, etc. But I think interest in their product suffers for it.

Sometimes I check SCM just to see what's going on, which is usually nothing. The updates are so infrequent. I know Matt was in the throes of change, but he's never seemed to get it together. It's always something and maybe he's just had a terrible run of bad luck and timing.

Anyway, he's got a new update with Dean and Rocky no less. He waits so long to post his films and in this case, Dean and Rocky have parted ways with SCM and are involved in their own sites. Talk about a time lag. He's calling his sort of new site Bait and Tackle.

Dean, how do you feel about Matt still using new material with you in it that is just now being posted? You're still on the very first page of the site too, from way back when. Soooo hot looking. I saw something somewhere about Rocky having a site. Is it up and going yet?

His "new" video of rocky and I was from almost 2 years ago... I don't mind that he is still using my photos because it is free promotion for my site. I never understood why he updated so infrequently... He always got complaints about that, so I have devoted my site to update at least once a week to keep it fresh. Rocky did have a site up for a short time rockysbedroom.com but it has since been taken down...

I sure would like to know what happened to Caleb. I have read all sorts of rumors, but nobody seems to know for sure. He and Dean always worked well together.

Haven't seen or heard anything about Caleb or Rocky since they were on SCM then fell off the radar. Matt had made some remarks about them and Dean when Dean left and started his site. It made it sound like they were all traitors and/or in jail. Dean made some comment on a JUB thread about it and said it wasn't true. He also said something about Rocky and I can't remember. It seems like he was going to start his own site then it didn't work out. I'd hoped he'd make an appearance on Dean's site. Caleb was sure a wild child who would do anything. I thought he'd make a vid for Dean but not so.

There are a lot of new, young guys on SCM now. Some real cuties and Matt is updating a lot more frequently. The initial membership fee is so high, I just won't pay it. I don't know why he doesn't offer a special for a certain length of time like other sites do. He has preview clips that are longer than other sites, but doesn't show any frontals.

It's not like it's hard to illegally acquire them. Google is your friend. I don't advise it though. 2SCM is expensive and not that good.
