Ozzy was ROBBED of the Survivor Title, he outwitted, outplayed and outlasted everyone else, especially Yul, who was so boring. He also took his second place finish in the jury vote like a man, with class, and character, proving him again the most brilliant player in the history of Survivor.

Not to mention, he cleaned up great, so adorable in the reunion show, but I also liked him scruffy and wild on the Cook Islands. Here's to a true champion! Way to go Oscar!!!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who wanted him to win. I was praying for him to not fall off the platform. He should have won with an 8-1 vote with the one going to Yul from Jonathon. Oh well maybe he'll come back for another All Stars if they do another.

Yeah, I really wanted him to win as well, but the old curse held true, he won the car but lost the money...

Although, it was really hard for me to like anyone else, he's just so nice to look at. After watching "the video" in the previously linked topic, I'm seriously considering relocating to California...:twisted:

i actually really wanted yul to win. i thought ozzy was a great competitor, he was also towards the top of my list. but to me, yul played the better game, he controled the whole game from the very start

only because he found the hidden immunity idol early in the game. without it, he definately would have been voted off. everyone knew he had it by the time of the merge. just like the past few Survivors, the person who found the immunity idol on exile island was "in control".

As far as who should've won Yul played a two pronged game- he used strategy and performed well in the challenges. Ozzy just did the later. Survival is a social game more then a physical and the right man won.

I don't remember Yul winning any challenges or immunities, he just lucked out finding the idol, and was a manipulative lier, while Ozzy played all out, with heart and soul and never lied to anyone, Loved how he said he missed the island in the finale and even fell into a deep depression back in the concrete world, Ozzy is what Survivor should be about, playing all out and using your talents for good not manipulation.

Also picked up definite vibe between Jeff Probst and Oscar during the season and again on the reunion show, Ozzy looked like he was on the verge of crying when Jeff said it's the first time he wished someone else could have won! Loved the fakes, wish we could have an all male version of Survivor All Stars, wish Jeff could compete along with them.

Dude manipulation is a talent and it's a huge part of the game. You don't get villify someone for bluffing in poker. It's part of the game and people got to except that. The game of Survivor is a social game and from Terry to Ozzy people who just want to look at it as a physical game make me roll my eyes. If you wanna reduce it to challenges why even play you can choose the winner in like three epidsodes. And Yul never one individual immunity but he was close several times.

Circumstances are a huge part of Survivor -- and there's nothing wrong with them. It comes down to deciding who you want to see, or who you believe should, win.

Yul handled himself, the circumstances of finding the Idol, and negotiations and strategies lucidly, instinctively, and beautifully.

Ozzy, though, would've been an excellent choice as well because of physicality, determination, and trust -- trust in allies and trust in his own abilities.
