Josh Weston: Interview

Josh Weston

In 2002, Chi Chi LaRue directed a handsome newcomer in a Jocks Studio production, Deception, about two lovers who take shelter at an all-male ranch when their car breaks down, but find themselves kept prisoners. That newcomer, who played one of the lovers, was Josh Weston.

Since then, Weston has gone on to an illustrious career, including an exclusive stint with Falcon and work for Hot House, Blue Blake, Rascal Video, Buckshot Productions, COLT and Unzipped.

He's about to expand his horizons, as well as part of his anatomy, in the forthcoming Blue Blake production, Muscle Pit, which director Blue Blake calls his nastiest movie ever. In Muscle Pit, Josh bottoms for Robert Van Damme and Brad Rock in his first-ever onscreen double penetration. The scene was actually shot in April, but the movie won't be released until an as-yet unspecified date this summer.

Just Us Boys talked to Josh about this scene, his career, his amateur "roots" and more in an interview in which he exposes his dark side and his biting humor.

(for new fans) What are your vital stats? : I'm 5'11", 180 pounds, average hung.

What is your current relationship status? I'm seeing someone, or was ... I fear it's cooling. He used to hold my hand when the plane took off.

How did you get your porn name? It's a hybrid of two high school crushes

How did you get into the porn business? Its a long strange road, but was inevitable. I grew up in a red state, in a Christian family - not a happy childhood when you are a china shop and your brothers are bulls. I left home and high school at 16 for San Francisco. When you're a homeless 16-year-old runaway in San Francisco, your future is pretty much set, meaning sex work was my only real means. It snowballed from the street, to stripping at Nob Hill, to escorting, to porn. I enjoy very much what I do, but still always wonder "what if"...

What was your first film? I think my first real film was Deception for Falcon. Of course, there's always the truck stop security cam footage from my formative high school years.

The last time we talked you said your all-time hottest scene was one you filmed with Jason Adonis for Falcon's Taking Flight. When I saw the film, the scene did not appear to me to be exceptional. This is leading to two questions: a) what do you now consider to be your all-time hottest scene on camera, and b) when you watch yourself on a movie, how accurately does the finished product reflect what you felt when you were making the scene?

a) It really is the video I just did for Blue Blake, Muscle Pit. DP'd by those two guys - does it get any better? I may as well hang up my hole. Brad Rock is so cute and super sweet, and Robert Van Damme, hands down the sexiest guy I've ever been with. I could not take my eyes (or thighs) off him when I got to set, just a hot beefy Russian man. He could make a Faberge egg ovulate.

b) The newer stuff is very accurate. I don't care about being cute any more, but I want whoever is watching the scene (love it or hate it) to never forget it. The older Falcon stuff I did was fairly tame and a lot of the hotter moments got cut out. This newer stuff like Muscle Pit or Communion or (the upcoming) Link 5: The Evolution, is just total hot nasty sex, without all the tinsel.

Here's a flurry of questions about your DP scene in Muscle Pit: How did you get hooked up with Blue Blake? Whose idea was it to film a DP scene? Who were your scene partners? How satisfied were you with the actual filming of the scene? Did it fulfill a personal fantasy for you or was it just part of the job? Would you film another? I got the job through David Forest. I had never done a DP scene, ... well, not for a studio. Done it lots in personal life. It's not easy, contorting your body to take two big cocks; it's like a sport, you have to master it. I'm the Mary Lou Retton of Double Penetration.

Does your adult career occupy you full-time or do you have another job, and if so, what is it? This is it, I'm consumed. I love the work, but I know I need to slowly start inching out. Hard to do. I keep a Post-it on my mirror in the bathroom as a reminder to change: Dear Josh, Please stop looking for me. You're a whore and I hate you. Sincerely, Attention.

Where do you call home? Nowhere. Everywhere.

Your award-winning Rentboy.com ad says you are a "great top, better bottom." What makes a top great? What makes a bottom great? Why are you a better bottom? The key to being a great top is stamina. The key to being a great bottom is surrender. I think I'm a better bottom; it's just my nature to give in.

Look into your crystal ball and tell me where you see yourself in a year? In three years? Good question ... do porn stars go to heaven?

I love his on screen persona, but in this interview he strikes me as a sad and lonely guy.
