JUB recently had the pleasure of talking with Vin Marco, one of the hottest recruiters in the adult business, to find out more about the man behind the muscle. We quickly realized that Vin wasn't just another ripped muscle god, but an all around nice guy who has a brain as big as his brawn. And if Vin isn't enough man for you, he also tells us about his best friend and brother, Gabe Marco, another star of this successful site. (Photo: Image 3)

What's the basic concept behind ManifestMen.com? I began in the adult business after being scouted by a man in Oregon and soon thereafter ended up working non-exclusively with a couple studios. I was doing some solo video work and also working on a live webcam site. I looked around and very quickly realized that the guys that had a future were fully in control of their own images. I soon met my business partner, who was very interested in building a brand which featured the best muscle men in an artistic and erotic way without the 'cheese' factor. You won't find denim hot pants on Manifest Men. We were determined to create erotica that was as artistic as it was hot. The quality of our photography is a prime example. We found a need in an area in which we were both interested and set out to fill that need.

How long have you been building your body? As a kid, I grew up helping my dad do his work out. I'd hang on his back while he did pull ups, I'd take his shoes off after his jogs, hold his feet down while he did sit ups, lay on his back while he did push ups. I would read his muscle mags and books. I was skinny most of my life. I was actually 6'1 and 150 lbs in 10th grade. Being skinny just made me work harder as I felt I had to prove my self to my BIGGER buddies. I never backed down from bigger guys and my size never kept me from surfing and doing the things I loved, but never for one second did I forget that my legs were about the size of most of my friends' arms. Like most of us who grew up this way, body building, the weight room was the answer.

After 10th grade is when you could say I turned it up. I came back in the 11th grade only to have people say "WTF happened to you?" I now had attention from my new found physical gains. I liked it and it just served as a motivation. Sad to say, but I realized early on that I was treated different . As a skinny kid, I had to fight to be accepted in a way that the big kids didn't. But after my gains, the jocks treated me differently, the coaches begged, but I was still the same guy inside so some things never changed. I shared the same gym as the jocks but still didn't have much in common. I liked the beach and didn't care much for pro sports. I just knew I loved the gym and what it did for me. Little did I know it would come to save me some 14 yrs later. Like many things in life, I had the chance to sit on both sides of the fence so to speak. I think this just helped me find compassion for people. It either does two things, you either find compassion or forget you were once there. I always help guys that ask for my help or advice in the gym. I was once that kid and will never forget.

What is the secret to your success as a bodybuilder? Dedication and discipline have been the key. I have never been too proud to seek out the advise of those with even better physiques. Most of the pro bodybuilders work with nutritionists, trainers and even choreographers to create outstanding world class bodies. It takes a huge commitment of time and resources to do what top notch physique models do.

Do you think that because you also model and you are so fit you get a better response from potential talent? Absolutely. I believe it is because I can so easily put myself in their shoes and understand the work it takes to be in the kind of shape we require of our models that they relate to me so well. They know that I am not talking through my hat when I speak. Alex, my partner, and I sleep well at night knowing that we have treated our men well and never treat them like meat or commodities.

What is your passion? My single greatest motivation is my family. In my culture and in my life-whether it is in my role as a father, spouse, son or brother, family is everything.

I notice that the site also features your brother, Gabe Marco. Growing up was there ever any sibling rivalry over who had the best body or who was the strongest? I am almost 5 years older than Gabe so there was little rivalry. He went from being my baby brother to a best friend early on. As a Latino family, the disagreements were strong at times, but the love we share was always stronger. You recently featured Gabe in the JUB fresh faces section. He's appearing in Men Magazine in July and I am very proud of what he is accomplishing in his professional and personal life. He is and always will be mi hermano querido. Soon after Manifest Muscle was launched, Gabe and I were sharing an apartment. We have always been very comfortable together and he saw how much fun I was having with the live shows at Manifest Muscle (our webcam site) and asked to get involved. Gabe has those kind of movie star good looks that have men and women turning to stare, so it was a no brainer.

You just recently started a diary on the site. What inspired that? So many members of Manifest Men write us asking the same kinds of questions you are. I wanted to give readers a true glimpse behind the scenes. Writing there is a great way to communicate with our extended family.

What can we expect next from ManifestMen.com? Alex and I are working to build a brand that will be recognized around the world. As we grow, it is even easier to provide our members with the best of the best. Our goal is to create a complete online community for fans with cinematic videos, the finest images and the very best customer service. The pride we have in what we are building is tremendous. Regardless of how we have grown, we still deal with each and every member as though they were the only one. We learn something new almost everyday and that is a huge part of the reward in this business. It is constantly changing. New technology comes online and we are still young and nimble enough to be able to take full advantage of the benefits that these advances can bring to our members.
