Braxton Bond? Six months ago, you never heard of him; now he's on the cover of Unzipped magazine and in films being released by Titan, Collin O'Neal, Jet Set, Falcon and more. The tanned, lanky limbs and gravelly voice are unmistakable, as is the latent world-weary aura that he projects (and which made his role in Falcon's Dare such a perfect fit). Here's a view of Bond from the man himself.

I read your interview in Unzipped, so I'll try to cover different territory. Your career never accelerated, it just started at top speed, with high visibility roles in high visibility films for major studios. How'd you do that?
Vrrrrrooom! Well, one of the first things I told myself and my agent was that I did not want to do anything less than work with the best people and the best studios. I wasn't doing it for any other reason than I wanted to be in the best with the best of them. Luckily that has happened. I would have never thought that it was going to blow up like it did, but I'm happy and I'm grateful. When you don't appreciate good things that happen to you, they get taken away. I'm laying low right now. I don't want the people who aren't already sick of me, getting tired of me. I'm going to look a lot different when I do my next film — always changing, that's what's good for me.

You always look serious and you have this gravelly voice. Were you an unusual child?
To say the least ... I think that when I was born I got stuck with some really old soul. I never felt like a child, I felt like I was an adult at a very young age. I did not want to be treated like a child. I was wise beyond my years. I hated to be around kids that were my biological age or anywhere near it. I wanted to hang out with the adults at my parents parties and speak to them as if I were as old as they were. I'd use adults words and tell off my elders if I did not like what they were saying, but always in a very eloquent and undermining manner. I sure as hell did not want an adult telling me what to do. I was convinced I could care for myself and didn't need supervision. Boy was I wrong — so I was always in trouble. That was my nickname. Oh, and Damien!

In your Unzipped interview, Ken Knox implies that he thought you were calculating your responses in order to create an aura of mystery about yourself? How much truth is there there (with apologies to Gertrude Stein)?
Please, I have better things to do than try to convince people I am someone other than who I really am. If you think I'm mysterious, fine; if you think I suck, fine. You can think whatever you want to think of me. I am fine with it. I know who I am.There's nothing I could read or anything bad anyone can say to me to hurt me. I've already been there, from the wonderful to the harmful. Luckily I have been getting nothing but good responses from people. I appreciate the kindness and understanding of the fans.

What are some of the scenes or films you've done that haven't been released yet?
Oh, some really good ones. Look for Nightscope, Chainsaw and Home Invasion from Titan. I worked with some really great scene partners on those. François Sagat, Tony Buff, Dillon Buck .... I can't wait to see those!

What would you look like below the neck if you did not trim or remove any hair for a month?
Like I needed to get rid of it. I look better smooth. Maybe when I'm a lot older I can let it grow out and do daddy porn!!

Talk about your photography. What kinds of pictures do you take? Have you had any schooling for photography?
Extensive schooling in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. I won't say where, unless they pay me! I studied film and photography for years, both in the states and Europe. My favorite photography is high fashion/trash. Whatever shocks people. I don't do sunsets and weddings, it bores me. And of course anything homoerotic — but in a way you've never seen. Yet.

Do you watch porn? What makes a scene hot for you as a viewer? When you're in front of the camera, how do you make it hot (or do you let the director worry about that)?
I only jerk off to my own scenes. Kidding. I don't really watch porn ... it's more fun to make. Ask anyone. I just listen to what I'm told, like a good boy, then I turn into a dirty boy. It's hard to act innocent and cute when there's a hot guy with a huge cock up your ass. I think that I imagine the camera is someone watching and I'm doing a show for them, pretending it's not there. Oh, and for all the crew 'cause it's being recorded for later but there's also always a live audience. Yeah right. Like they care! LOL.

What goals do you have for your porn career?
To leave a little mark on this porn industry somehow and look back and smile and show my films at my dinner parties when I'm 60 and know that I fucking rocked this life of mine!

What do you do for recreation and what do you do for entertainment? What's a typical day like when you're not on a porn set?
I travel, visit friends in different places, try to mix it up. I love driving. I got a new Range Rover for Christmas, so I've been in that a lot. I had one before this, but this one's supercharged! So I'll probably be finding muddy pits and courses to drag it through. I've been in the mood for a lot of outdoor activities lately. I like getting dirty again and just being a boy, getting into fist fights and shit like that. Other than that, I just chill the fuck out.

Is there a studio, director or model you especially want to work with?
There are a few and I think they know who they are. For the reader's sake, hmmmm ... I think everybody's fucked me already! OK, I don't know. I don't know a lot of their names. Jason Ridge is pretty hot, I did a movie for him, Beyond Malibu. Buy it! Chris Steele maybe! I like 'em big! I guess I shouldn't be sleeping with my directors, or at least letting anyone know about it!
I would love to work for Chi Chi, or Michael Lucas, I hear he's really fun to work with. Or maybe the opposite. He's hot and he makes good movies. And of course to continue with Jet Set, Falcon, Titan. Do another movie for Jett Blakk, I'm still kind of new, so I'll just see what offers I get.
