The home page of Adam Male reminded me of one of those super-stores with titles like 'Save-Quik, or 'Price-Slasher' for some reason. I think it was the colours, blue and yellow across the top with snowflakes and multi-coloured writing. But although it might strike you as a cheaply run, pile 'em high - sell 'em low kind of store, on further investigation you will find it's far more classy than that.

TLA Video looks like a superstore, only an internet version. To start with you have four main areas to browse; Hollywood and independent DVDs, Gay and Lesbian, Books and Adult. Each area has a search and advanced search function a page of new releases, news on what's coming soon and an on-line catalogue. And what's even better is that in each area you get more side aisles, for want of a better description. For example if you look in the gay and lesbian section you'll find the same handy links to what's new and coming soon, but you'll also get separate areas for books, calendars and erotica.

There are 110 gay themes at Movie Mountain, a store where you can buy DVDs, toys and everything else you might need to bump up your sex life. The pages are neatly set out and navigation is easy, just click a category you want to investigate and the list of available movies appears. I like this; even a dimwit like me can understand what's going on!

Bonerama hits your eyes like a well packed glossy catalogue, which is basically what it is. There are some cute and silly pink penises dancing across the top which made me smile and also a drop down menu where you can view the site in four different languages. There are loads of different genre DVDs to buy here so it's simply a question of hunting around to see what's on offer.

I like the look of Gay DVD, it resembles a catalogue but one with moving pictures; a trailer plays top right as soon as you arrive, what a nice welcome. The latest titles to be added to the store are featured on the main page with links to the other areas over on the left. Having a quick tour around I found about 100 contributing studios here including Bel Ami, for you lovers of smooth and impossibly beautiful youths, Dark Alley Media for those who like older hunks and some more specialised studios such as Fisting Central and Cyber Bears.

You know, sometimes it's really difficult to tell you everything about a site because some of them are just so damn big. I mean entering Buy Gay is a bit like walking into the biggest shopping mall ever and not knowing where to start. So, if I were you, I would have something in mind before you go in so you don't feel too overwhelmed and end up coming out with nothing.
